Because space is very limited, this is an event for Co-op Member-Owners only and one guest (at least 8 yrs old).
The Annual Membership Meeting will be held at the Co-op on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Co-op community owners will also be voting on Board candidates.
Our Local Vendor Fair will be going on that same day, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with music, special prices, and more! Please come meet our local vendors as they showcase their products that we proudly feature in our store.

Vote on a proposed change to the Co-op's Bylaws. This proposal will allow the Board to establish the Patronage Refund Program as an additional benefit for Co-op Member-Owners. The Board will also discuss more new benefits for Member-Owners, how the Co-op can improve, and how to survive in the competitive SLO grocery and health products marketplace.

The Co-op will provide light refreshments and beverages and there will be some time to socialize with your fellow Member-Owners, Co-op staff, and Board Members.

Lan Alcorn of Treat SLO will be here today, Wed, Aug 31st, from 11am to 3pm with samples of her amazing baked goods. As you might guess, Treat SLO is a local business and uses local ingredients to create delicious baked cookies, cupcakes, bars, pastries, and breakfast goodies.
Sean Swift, Founder and CEO of Muesli Munch, will be at the Co-op on Friday, Aug 19th, from 11am to 4pm, sampling out his delicious muesli. Muesli Munch comes in four certified organic blends: Walnut Currant Muesli, Pumpkin Pecan Muesli, Cranberry Coconut Muesli, and Gluten Freedom Muesli. Come and find your favorite!

At 1:30pm, Co-op Members are invited to attend the Annual Membership Meeting. Meet your current Board Members, hear how the Co-op is doing, and learn about our future plans.

Derma-E will be here with their UV photography unit which makes any hidden sun damage visible. In addition, we’ll be hosting a blood drive with United Blood Services. If you’d like to make a blood donation you can sign up on the UBS website or you can sign up at the Co-op in person or by calling us at 544.7928 to reserve a time.
Co-op We're also thrilled to host Jordan Rubin, founder of Garden of Life, Beyond Organic, and Get Real Nutrition for a free health seminar. Jordan is the New York Times bestselling author of The Maker's Diet and he will share how to improve digestion, super charge your immune system, and jump-start your metabolism. This seminar at 1:00 PM is free, but please RSVP to us at the Co-op (544.7928) so we know how many people to expect. Jordan will also be signing copies of his latest book, Planet Heal Thyself: The Revolution of Regeneration in Body, Mind and Planet.

Kendra will be here at SLO Natural Foods Co-op signing her new book, The SLO Farmers' Market Cookbook. Kendra's book has 60 seasonal recipes and is very much a local endeavor; you will recognize many of the local farmers and restaurateurs who participated.
